Rio is a Washington-bred gelding who was at the 2006 WTBA Winter Sale Racing is not in Rio's future due to his size. Although well proportioned and very healthy, Rio would be best fit to a kid’s size rider, or small adult.

Rio needs an experienced handler that can keep up on his ground manners. He is very sweet and easily managed. Rio is very intelligent and loves roundpen games – he is craving a job and loves his schooling.
