What information does SCR collect?

SCR collects non-personally identifiable information about you through your IP address, computer settings and/or most-recently visited website.  We do not collect any personally identifiable information about you unless you voluntarily submit such information to us, by, for example, filling out a survey or registration form.  The types of information that may be requested include your name, address, email address, and telephone number. In no case does SCR share telephone numbers or e-mail addresses or permit other organizations to solicit our donors through either of these mediums. Your may opt out of receiving communications from us by sending an e-mail to unsubscribe@secondchanceranch.org with your complete name, address, and e-mail address.

SCR respects your privacy and has instituted policies intended to ensure that your personal information is handled in a safe and responsible manner.  We may use your information to send you details about our activities, events, campaigns, local volunteer opportunities, and membership and renewal appeals.  Under no circumstances do we sell, trade, rent, or otherwise divulge your personal information to others without express written permission.

By visiting the website you agree that information you submit to the website shall not contain libelous or otherwise unlawful, abusive or obscene material.  You are solely responsible for the content of any information you provide to SCR.

Does SCR use cookies?

How does SCR protect your information?

SCR is extremely protective of the information gathered through its membership and website. Our website has security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse, or alteration of the information under our control. Our web server is located in a locked, secure environment.  When you make a donation to SCR online, your transaction is processed by PayPal, a leading payment processor since 1998.  By using PayPal, we never receive or have access to your financial information, only confirmation that your donation has been made.

Do I have control over how my information is used?

You may opt-out of receiving communications from us by sending an email to us at unsubscribe@secondchanceranch.org with your complete name, address and email address.
